Toru Tsutsui, the third guest speaker of the guest-speaker series and a principal research at the Shoko Research Institute, will give a lecture about the SME funding and innovation on June 6th.
The second guest speaker of the guest-speaker series is Osamu Yaida, a visiting research at the IRC, Kwansei Gakuin University. He will give a lecture about the location strategy in the semiconductor society on May 30th.
It is widely recognized that start-up companies play an important role in the innovation and economic growth. The reality is that entry rate in Japan have stayed stagnet for many years and the development of industries through start-up companies has been not realized, however. We invite a world's leading researcher from Europe and a famous entrepreneur in Japan and discuss the issues to promote the creation and growth of the start-up companies.
The symposium is co-hosted by the IRC, KGIO (Kwansei Gakuin University Industrial Organization Workshop), Institute of Industrial Research at Kwansei Gakuin University, Kansai University and Kobe University.
